
Property Claims Adjuster
Bright, eager and positive professional sought to join our highly regarded and dynamic
Claims department. Based from your residence in Vermont, the successful candidate will
provide a high standard of service and effectively handle a diverse caseload of property
insurance claims. Candidates must possess a record of proven aptitude and success and be
capable of handling all aspects of property claim adjusting, including skillful coverage
determination, policy interpretation, writing accurate residential and commercial building
estimates, calculating business interruption claims and resolving disputes on behalf of
Vermont Mutual Insurance Group®.
Ideal candidates qualifications include, but are not limited to:

College degree and at least three years of relevant technical claims experience with
demonstrated achievement and progressive responsibilities; including knowledge of the
technical aspects of property claims in Vermont (and possibly surrounding states);

Vermont State Adjuster's License.

Demonstrated commitment to professional development such as AIC, RPA, SCLA, CPCU;

Strong analytical, negotiating, interpersonal and written communication skills;

Ability to exercise sound judgment and ethics in dealing with professional issues;

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estimating software; experience with Imaging
preferred;

Dependable; Ability to travel frequently and travel to the Home Office in Montpelier
upon request.
