MONTPELIER, Vermont (Jan 23, 2017)—Vermont Mutual Insurance Group® was once again recognized as a Best Places to Work in Vermont by Vermont Business Magazine, in conjunction with the Vermont Chamber of Commerce, the Vermont Department of Labor, the Vermont Department of Economic Development, the Society for Human Resource Management, Vermont State Council and Best Companies Group.
Every year Vermont Business Magazine surveys Vermont companies to find the best places to work in the state. Taken into consideration are company policies, demographics, and systems. In addition, employees are asked to answer 78 questions on employee satisfaction. This anonymous questionnaire accounts for 75% of the overall scoring of a company. Notably, Vermont Mutual had an impressive 82% survey participation.
